Bad Debt Schedule
Most intermediaries now require that you provide your bad debt schedules in Excel format upon audit or desk review. We also encourage our clients to keep the bad debt in Excel format so that tests can be run using formulas to mitigate the occurrence of errors that can be costly due to sampling at audit or desk review. Below is an Excel blank bad debt template that you may use to track bad debt. We have also included a .pdf file with notes and recommendations for completion.
